Black Pearl Band NM is the recipient of the 2014 New Mexico Hispanic Music Associations Bilingual Song of the Year. In 2009, Black Pearl Band NM won the battle of bands at Knuckleheads Bar & Grill and has opened for Grammy Award Winner Ruben Ramos.
